Who Can Join

Membership is for the handler and not the dog.

All dogs must be fit, healthy, and comfortable working around other dogs and people.

If a handler owns, and runs 2 dogs, then only 1 Membership is required in the name of the handler. If a dog is run by multiple handlers, then Membership is required for both parties. If a handler runs a dog which is owned by another person, then Membership is required for both parties.

Membership is open to:

  • Beginners – New handlers and dogs starting out on their agility journey
  • Competition handlers – Experience in agility and looking to progress
  • Experienced Handlers – Those already competing to a high level wanting to test and develop their skills

Royal Kennel Club Listed Status

Being a Royal Kennel Club Listed Club means recognition by The Kennel Club, the UK’s official governing body for dog training and welfare. This status reflects a commitment to high standards of knowledge, professionalism, and ethical, welfare-focused training methods.

The Kennel Club only lists instructors who demonstrate appropriate experience, proven competence, and a commitment to ongoing education. For you as a dog owner, this provides reassurance that training is delivered using modern, reward-based techniques that prioritise your dog’s wellbeing, confidence, and long-term success.

(Positive Paw4mance is currently in the process of renewing its Listed Status following an issue during the renewal process. We expect the matter to be resolved by the end of April 2026)
